Environmental Action Club President\u00a0<\/h2>\n

As President of the Skidmore College Environmental Action Club, I led impactful campus sustainability efforts, including drafting and presenting a proposa<\/strong>l to the College President<\/strong> that called for the formation of a climate task force within the administration and successfully pushed for sustainability to be a large theme in the revision of the college\u2019s strategic plan<\/strong>. I also organized a widely attended Earth Day celebration that brought together over 800 students, faculty, and community members for a zero-waste event featuring food, music, and interactive activities. I hosted weekly meetings that usually ranged from 10-20 attendees.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a student representative on Skidmore College\u2019s Campus Sustainability Subcommittee, I contributed to shaping campus-wide building and development policies to better align with Skidmore\u2019s sustainability goals<\/strong>. I also played a key role in advising revisions<\/strong> to the College\u2019s Campus Sustainability Plan<\/strong>, helping to strengthen its climate action components and broaden its environmental impact.<\/span><\/p>\n
