Leadership Experience

Environmental Action Club President 

As President of the Skidmore College Environmental Action Club, I led impactful campus sustainability efforts, including drafting and presenting a proposal to the College President that called for the formation of a climate task force within the administration and successfully pushed for sustainability to be a large theme in the revision of the college’s strategic plan. I also organized a widely attended Earth Day celebration that brought together over 800 students, faculty, and community members for a zero-waste event featuring food, music, and interactive activities. I hosted weekly meetings that usually ranged from 10-20 attendees. 

Campus Sustainability Subcommittee 

As a student representative on Skidmore College’s Campus Sustainability Subcommittee, I contributed to shaping campus-wide building and development policies to better align with Skidmore’s sustainability goals. I also played a key role in advising revisions to the College’s Campus Sustainability Plan, helping to strengthen its climate action components and broaden its environmental impact.

Green Grant Program  

As a student representative for Skidmore College’s Green Grant Program, I collaborated with faculty evaluators to review and assess grant applications for student-led sustainability initiatives. My role focused on identifying projects that aligned with and advanced the College’s broader environmental and climate goals.
